Pros

The safety culture is evident throughout. It starts with the CEO and permeates the entire company. The projects are diverse and interesting.

Cons

You have to be willing to give it your all if you want to work here. Everyone works very hard.

It's been said over and over again - Myers doesn't just talk the talk, they do the walk... in all aspects of employee development, safety and dignity. One of the few real 'family businesses' left.

Cons

Not really a downside; but, it doesn't seem like work (most of the time) - despite the energy and hours put in.

Pros

Allan Myers is a large company however they are extremely family oriented. When you think of a company this size you think of corporate America and that is not the case when you walk into the main office which is an old barn with rustic farm tables as conference tables. All of the support you need is given to you in order to allow you to achieve whatever you wish

Cons

The hours can be long at times, it's construction thus is can be draining and stressful at times. Not everyone pulls their weight 100% of the time
