      This company is very family and safety oriented. Opportunities for growth are limited only by your desire to succeed. Compensation is on par, or above, competitors.

      Cons

      As with any company in this industry, the work is laborious, and dictated by weather. Sometimes the work/life balance gets off center due to restrictions and requirements determined by outside influences.

      Pros

      Allan Myers is a family. Everywhere you go people are genuinely invested in ensuring that all of us go Home Safe Tonight. From Ross Myers on down there is a commonality that strives to make it possible for every employee to win every day. And as the company grows, it doesn't forget who and where it came from. I can truly say that I look forward to coming to work every day.

      Cons

      Because of the nature of the business with job sites and plants scattered across the Mid-Atlantic, sometimes thorough communication can be difficult. To combat this, I always try to go the extra mile when reaching out with or for information.
