      Pros

      Large company with a small company feel. Ability to move roles or locations within the company. Highly competitive group of people work here - everyone is striving to make Allan Myers the best. Nice benefits package, plenty of continuing education opportunities for all employees ranging from field level training to partnerships with Universities for college credits.

      Cons

      Employees are expected to work long hours regularly. Our projects are spread out over a large footprint so field employees have to travel (this is typical for a construction company).

      Pros

      The teamwork atmosphere and mentality make Allan Myers a joy to work for! Not every company is perfect but they do care about their employees for being such a large company. Every morning I wake up looking forward to going to work instead of dreading it like I use to at my last job! We all have a voice in the company and we look out for each other.

      Cons

      At times because we are so big we get lost in the shuffle. Eventually they get to us. At times the response times on things can be a bit better.

      Pros

      Allan Myers has created a great family environment for those with a competitive spirit. We work hard and are always striving to be better. I've have many opportunities to carve out my own career path and have had the support to grow.

      Cons

      Inconsistencies in Sr. Management messaging across regions. Other than that, I love this place.
