Pros
Unionized by TWU, pay is amazing after the 1st year (over $7 increase), there is profit sharing payouts 2 times a year, you work independently with a crew and little to no management everyday, and there are so many opportunities to move up in the company, even as a flight attendant. They love hiring those at their HQ from within. One last thing, as a flight attendant at Allegiant, you get to come home every night as there are no layovers, unless there is a mechanical, weather issue, etc that causes your flight to be cancelled.
Cons
Training doesn't really prepare you well enough on the phases of flight (I.e., the day to day work you do everyday), so most of us, including those who have graduated after me, had a really tough time on the IOE; so just be mindful of that. Also, Allegiant isn't doing much about the toxic cabin air issue (research dirty sock smell in aircraft.) It has sent a lot of us to the hospital where we needed to be detoxified of the fumes in our bodies.
