Pros
I worked for Allegis (and their brands) for almost 10 years at the corporate headquarters. When I first was hired on I thought the company really cared about culture and I built some deep, lasting friendships that survived my time there. The culture is something the company cares about, but only insomuch as it furthers their business goals. Which honestly, is true of almost any company that touts their "culture". The whole "we're family" BS is deployed by hundreds of companies (Allegis included) as a way to make you feel like you need to give everything (i.e. free labor) to the company. It creates a toxic workplace where inter-personal relationships and politics drive business decisions and opportunity and promotion becomes based on who you know, not what you know. But... I did get a chance to learn new skills and try out a few different types of roles, so I guess there's that.
Cons
Compensation at corporate is generally below market average. Benefits are TERRIBLE. It's still pretty much a boys club. Culture can be "culty" and toxic. Now they're pushing RTO even though they promised employees they wouldn't. Sigh.
