Pros

Organized, very detail oriented and provides great customer service to their clients

Cons

While Alliant prides themselves for providing excellent service, that’s about it. They treat employees as if they are worth nothing. The benefits suck and work life balance suck. Sadly those who worked the most were the lowest paid employees, a consultant admitted that it was expected that those individuals had to work late and it was frowned upon if you left at 5 pm.

Pros

The only pros are for the top management or producers who are making tons of money and are very arrogant.

Cons

No management to speak of, especially in the San Diego office. No HR oversight. A classic example of women doing all the work, with men taking all the credit. Lots of backstabbing and hostile work place environment issues.

Pros

- Large company with many positions for insurance specialist - Top level management that I believe genuinely wants to do right by employees yet too caught up in being "the biggest" brokerage - Employees who want to do a great job, just overworked and mismanaged

Cons

- Mid management that doesn't know how to manage - Overworked employees because the company is expanding quickly and has not build a solid platform to sustain the growth - Upper management out of touch of what is happening below them - Unable to "weed" out bad managers, instead cycle through many employees under them. - An insurance broker with the worst health insurance benefits out there. They offer better benefits to their clients
