Pros

Upper management and Producers are very knowledgeable. Good compensation.

Cons

There is no work life balance as you are expected to work around the clock. The team structure, at least the one I was on, was not clear and the producer took on the role of the person managing the team. Lack of training on the processes that the company follows along with the expectation to hit the ground running. This ended in over the top expectations, frustration, lack of team structure, tense work environment and a no one to turn to when the producer was over the top as that was the end all be all on the determination of your career there.

Pros

Nice office space. Notable name in the industry.

Cons

So many acquisitions so little time. Companies are bought at a rapid rate and operations can’t seem to keep up with the demands. Key people from the prior companies who would have been instrumental in making the transitions smoother were let go. I honestly question how this is sustainable.

Pros

Good company culture, fun events outside of the office to promote employee moral, great people. If you’re lucky you can buy into employee ownership, which will be nice way to save for retirement.

Cons

Poor management. No planning and/or budgeting in existence; results in total inability to make a decision and/or execute on anything. This is despite several plans created and designed for various programs/departments. These plans were never even reviewed. Management prefers to operate without an agenda or plan. Yet they constantly talk about how one is needed. A complete waste of time and energy and an insult to those who are tasked with creating an overall plan/strategy only to have it cast aside and never even considered.
