"Okay" company

Pros

I believe the pay was fair and aligned with the market value

Cons

1) Little to no work/life balance. Working from home, you are expected to overwork yourself. 2) You are at the mercy of your manager. If you have a manager who likes to micromanage you, your life will be hell. 3) Taking PTO is frowned upon by some managers. When the Flex PTO option came up few weeks ago (starting next year), a manager said it was a bad idea since employees will now take days off and the company will stop functioning. I was left utterly degusted by that mindset, and felt bad for people working under him.

Pros

The company is quickly adjusting to remote work from home. Overall, the company is EXCELLENT and does promote the growth of the employee. There are plenty of opportunities to further your skills. The company is growing in healthcare technology with various platforms to accommodate regulatory requirements and forming relationships with key businesses in order to leverage technological advancement. The flexibility of the products Allscripts offers is remarkable as it is highly customizable and client-focused.

Cons

For Employees, the salaries and benefits are not congruent with the true and rising cost of living.
