The wallet is very tightly closed. Technology & facilities are sourced for the cheapest price with little regard to quality. Layoffs were done without regard to the quality of the people retained.

Since the AllScripts takeover - Everything is bad. Systems never work the way they should. Systems freeze and kick you out constantly. Benefits are terrible with High deductible plans, (HMO included). India is basically doing our jobs now and will probably end up taking our jobs. We are currently “training” them so they can help. But it’s honestly creating more work for us since things aren’t done correctly, at all. The IT department (which I think is in India too) is terrible and can’t ever help. The CHMB IT department and AllScripts IT always point fingers on who should fix things, so nothing ever gets fixed. I miss our internal CHMB IT people. Flexible spending disappeared? Had it last year but nothing this year. The pay isn’t that great. We are severely overworked but aren’t allowed overtime. Since the massive layoffs, we have all had a LOT added to our plates and we aren’t being compensated for it. We have tried to fix our client mess ups by getting to the root of the problem. But are discouraged from that now as it’s “too late to bring it up.” So we just get yelled at by patients instead. I’m just trying to get through the holidays and hanging on to the slight hope that things get better. But so far it’s getting much worse. I’ve been with this company for a very long time. And it’s really disappointing to see what it’s become.
