Started great, turned out awful after several years
Pros
Annual holiday party, 401(k), health insurance plan somewhat expensive compared to other companies. Knowledgeable staff, good pay. Advancement, but only if you are one of the gang and work at the right place to get noticed.
Cons
You will receive promotions only if you fit in with the clique. It makes no difference how technical and customer service oriented you are, if you’re not working in the right location for management to notice you, you pretty much go unnoticed. I have seen unfair treatment of technicians over the years, benefits removed and never substituted for anything else. Technicians are stretched thin and leadership wonders why morale is low. Ridiculous expectations by leadership, you are not given a true voice to speak although you are told you are. Instead of working with you, they whisk you away if things aren’t going well and are very quick to substitute you with someone else, playing mind games all the way and lying straight to your face.
