Sunrise software is amazing.

Lack of consistent corporate strategy, inability to deliver contractual commitments on time/budget, repeated layoffs of veteran employees who know the software, constantly sinking stock prices

Pros

Some of my coworkers were great. Cafeteria food is good and the workers are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Abundance of training opportunities.

Cons

I'm not sure where to begin.. The Q3 results that recently came out are a great indicator of where the company is headed. Massive layoffs CONSTANTLY (including today, right before Christmas might I add- I assume to try to fluff Q4 financial results.) There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the decisions that management makes in this organization, and when changes and/or major decisions are made, the communication is utterly terrible or nonexistent. If you want to work for a company that doesn't value or invest in its employees, then Allscripts is the place for you.

Extremely long hours, Past CEO was awful, lack of direction, always in fear of a layoff.
