Pros

You get great benefits such as health insurance, matched 401k, PTO and more.

Cons

Since the organizational change in early 2013, the company is definitely heading in a different direction. The CEO and the president left at the same time. After their departure, every other executive left or were forced out. This dramatically changed the culture of the company and how they do business. The work load is incredibly high and there's little satisfaction. They used to put clients first. However, it's all about how fast they can move their clients through an implementation. There's no room for quality. It's all about speed.

More US based Layoffs 7/13/2018

Pros

Lots of long term dedicated employees

Cons

More layoffs today in a Raleigh. Lots of seasoned, dedicated employees in support following a Voluntary Early Retirement program that also impacted US based support. If back-filled, it will be offshore. Every time they acquire another company, someone else looses their job. US customers need to loudly express their concern to the Top dogs that make these decisions.

Pros

Came to Allscripts due to acquisition. Good PTO and recognized our tenure.

Cons

Really unimpressed with company. Benefits are a joke - poor selection and 1/3 company less contribution than old company, no philanthropy or donations matching, immediate layoffs of strong resources doubled work of those left, no cross team integration of Allscripts teams to us, retained poor leaders and their bad choices and lack of employee engagement, closed offices and made employees remote then took away Corp cell phones and home office phone stipends yet still expect 12 - 15 hours OT every 2 week overnight/ weekend on calls for go lives using personal cells and overall cheap company from travel, conferencing and basic office supplies and amenities. Senior leadership has done nothing to make us feel like part of Allscripts. Every week we lose a benefit or perk due to "cost efficiency ". Waiting for the inevitable pay cut now that we have been moved to new job titles.
