Middle and upper management are more concerned with their titles and cliques than with their reportees and software quality. Numerous recent "reorgs" have spiraled morale and loyalty into the dirt since nobody trusts the company anymore. Incredible amount of offshore outsourcing which may save money but definitely impacts quality. Definitely the worst quality software I've ever worked on -- would actively avoid hospitals running this software for fear of my own personal safety.

Management is hypocritical -- sends surveys, doesn't listen or follow-up to realistic suggestions. There is no work-life balance despite the 'program du jur' from HR trying to spin otherwise. Do not expect or anticipate any type of bonus or promotion in the near or far future, regardless of your true performance, knowledge, satisfaction with clients, etc.
