      RUN!!

      Pros

      PTO and other benefits (insurance, 401k, etc) The company pays for your licensing and gives you time to study

      Cons

      If you are thinking about being a claims adjuster, think twice. The burnout in this position is sooooooo real and damages your mental health significantly. Had I known this prior I wouldn't have chose this path. I lasted 8 months and that was truly pushing it. You will always be underprepared. Training was 11 weeks of straight BS!!

      good company culture but thats about all it offers

      pay is way too low for the industry standard and they are losing so much money pay increases outside the yearly cycle is not allowed

      Pros

      Target was easy to meet. If you're a mature worker who can make your manager look good in front of their peers, they used to leave you alone. If you can keep drinking the Koolaid, your job was secure.

      Cons

      The ultra low culture work environment plagues reps every day. From bad audio quality (can't understand what callers are saying clearly and delays so you're talking over the callers), product bundling obsession, and finally to the new QA rating process where "let's give every customer the same experience" became the new norm. If you're a mavericky employee that every company wants to hire, you do not belong to Allstate direct phone sales dept. Your sanity is better found at other companies where they don't micromanage you day to day.
