Pros

Everyone knows what Allstate is, which can be in your favor or not.

Cons

-Software is always down or not working properly. -You can no longer call anyone. Everything is chat only now. To add to that, you have a 50/50 shot of getting someone who is willing to actually help with an issue. Half the time they're no help at all. It's a blessing when someone actually reads and helps with the issue. Especially since we're the "face" of the company. -If you work for an agency but not Allstate Corporate, you do not get any benefits for working for them or discounts on your insurance. Yet, you still represent them.
