Pros

The vacation time is unbeatable. Stable company. The benefits aren't bad either. Excellent Work\Life programs.

Cons

They're cheap in pay. The company is stuck in the typical ancient business model. Work ethic is not a favored trait in an employee. Employees aren't worth much unless they are salaried. Past work experience isn't worth much. They would rather remake new leaders.

Pros

Allstate is very Work/Life Balance oriented and is willing to work with employees on family issues. Very progressive and willing to change with the times. Most employees will go extra mile to help each other. Company Perks (i.e. Picnics, extra curricular actives, etc) a nice touch to show appreciation to everyone.

Cons

As most companies these days, Allstate is cutting employees to the bone. Sometimes this goes too far and hurts the remaining employees. Some middle managment from old school and believes in hierarchies while others have open door policy. More would be accomplished with the "Open Door" policy.
