Pros

Making sure you get the proper training. An being able to work 40 hrs. Having the opportunity to just get the experience of call center. Shown the appreciation for working on the weekend.

Cons

The managers unprofessional. Managers have an attitude when it's a supervisor call. You can gain a lot weight here. You are constantly sitting. There is not a lot of movement.Dont recommend No one because their not gonna get hire. They never get hire. But when you look around we need help. The hiring manger is mean an Very unfriendly. Not hospitable person. Do not make you feel welcome. Some of the mangers don't dress or carry themselves like a person in charge. Quick to send you home for not the right apparel. But they do not dress as the handbooks states (BUSINESS CASUAL). Lead by example... Not giving raises. Guess it will come one day. Sitting chairs are horrible bad on your back An legs. Front office is junky.Hard to get in touch with someone when calling out. Vents are dusty. Need more help in environmental services to keep building clean.

Pros

can't think of a single one.

Cons

Training was horrific, you can tell they were rushing the trainer to finish up so he could throw us in. I trained remote and it was just powerpoint slides that the trainer read. Half of the class didn't even do 1 test call and they through us in. I was COMPLETELY lost with my calls and nothing about the culture of the company made me motivated to push through and self learn. It was an absolute mess. I came from a company that made you feel like an individual so it was very disappointing even bothering with Alorica.

Pros

There's some flexibility in your work schedule, but they mostly need people to work nights due to the call volume.

Cons

First, and most importantly, there are a number of hoops you have to jump through to get your hard earned commission and they will do everything to keep you from getting it. A survey is emailed to the callers you are able to get approved for an American Express credit card and if you get anything less than a 10/10 they will take your commission from you. Even if you do great and get 100% of your commission for the month Alorica will take out an additional 18% for what they call a "handling fee". Alorica uses this money that they take from your hard earned check to buy cupcakes, decorations, and throw mediocre "parties". If you miss too much time in any given month Alorica will take your commission check from you. If you accidently say something incorrect to a caller you can get what's called a PIN (1, 2, or 3) and Alorica will take your commission from you. If you get a PIN 3, you are not allowed to get your commission checks for 3 months. The supervisors try and help, but even their morale is low because of upper management taking their team's money. Because the turn over rate is so high they don't have enough employees on the phones so it's often back-to-back calls, with no rest. Anytime a caller asks a question about an American Express card you have to read paragraphs of legal verbiage and they often get upset because you can't give them a simple response. Also, you are CONSTANTLY competing with the American Express website which has better deals then you can ever offer and caller's call in to ask a question, and then say they will apply online and this negatively impacts your sales numbers for the month which, you guessed it, takes away your commission. If you like being robbed, lied to, and taken for granted, then you'll love Alorica's American Express Program. I guarantee it, or you money back, but probably not.
