Pros

- Good working environment, - Enjoyable Office Culture

Cons

- below market rate wages - Extremely high turnover rate. The manager who I interviewed with and hired me, who I was planning on being mentored by, left the week I started and nobody had a clue on how to properly train an EIT. -Horrible training and management. -sink or swim environment for new EIT's -inept admin/office managers

Pros

Fun to be on the front line of pioneering bicycle infrastructure in the US. Good upward mobility potential. Strong and expansive project portfolio. Room to be innovative with clients and pull from "the hive" of mobility experts. Knowledgeable co-workers. Flex time is promoted as a benefit.

Cons

Heavy focus on short-term gains/losses. Sink or swim culture. Inefficient resource library led to a lot of repetition and re-inventing the wheel. It's difficult to build culture in smaller offices when mixed ideas exist about work style and work life balance.

Pros

Great Jr. Staff; Benefits are good; Flexible work schedule if needed

Cons

Management is not very good at 360 feedback. Managers can evaluate us but there is no formal way for us to evaluate managers. Frequent negative feedback, to the point I had to ask my manager to be more constructive and also point out positives. You are expected to work more than 40 hrs a week, and pay is significantly lower than other companies (I'm talking $10K lower). I asked for a raised and was told my work was a B - . I really did not feel like improving, rather I felt like quitting and I did. Office environment can be tight and not have all the tools you need. Looks like the company is running tight on budget. High turnover
