Pros

The people who work at Alta are genuine, interesting, and ethical. Good communication, pleasant workplace environment. For the most part people left the office by 5:30, on average. This is not the kind of place where you will work absurdly long hours.

Cons

It's hard to think of many cons. There is only one thing that comes to mind, which is that I realized after a little while that I wanted more diversity of projects to work on. Alta is a specialized bike/ped planning and design firm so that is what they do, and they do it well. Personally, I just preferred to find an opportunity that would give more broad experience.
