Pros

Interesting projects, policy values of work.

Cons

- Lack of accountability from upper management. Double standards where managers get to take time off and work from home and production staff are held to a higher, more rigorous standard without effective leadership. - High turnover. - Impersonal bottom line oriented work culture. - Managment takes advantage of recent graduates and passionate students without providing adequate instruction, training, and/or reasonable expectations. - Very white. - Design being done is dull, unimaginative and extremely limited in scope.

Pros

Company has many motivated capable planners, designers doing important work. Great place to grow with like-minded professionals

Cons

Carolyn makes sure the operations side of things provide minimal possible support to tech/sales staff. If you're a project manager, get ready to do all your own invoices and spend tons of your own very meager salary on transportation and project resources with very slow reimbursement. If you're ops staff it's because you were the cheapest thing they could find and no matter how hard you work you will never get a positive review or raise.

Pros

Flexible schedule and work life balance is great. Great benefits for health / wellness / public transportation and bike maintenance. The goals of the company are environmentally friendly and forward thinking.

Cons

Senior employees can be spread thin. Junior employees don't often get full scope of projects. Junior employees can be overworked and then go through a period with small work load. Not much diversity in the work environment.
