Working at Altasciences was a disappointing experience due to rampant favoritism, lack of recognition for deserving individuals, blaming culture and unprofessional behavior from supervisors. The toxic work environment is characterized by screaming, accusatory tones, and a severe lack of teamwork. Clear guidelines are absent, leading to inefficiency and stress. Micromanagement is excessive, yet supervisors are inaccessible, causing delays and further stress. Overall, the company's culture fosters a hostile and unproductive atmosphere, making it challenging to thrive or find job satisfaction.

Processes are outdated and unnecessarily complicated. The company have acquired multiple locations across the globe but there is no system in place to have harmonized processes. Everything takes forever to get done and the only constant excuse is that we are a CRO and it is like this in all CROs. Management lacks in scientific expertise. The hardwork of employees are not acknowledged but rather ignored and overlooked. The management verbally say that they care about you which is nice but it does not go beyond meaningless words. Don’t expect to see state of the art technology but rather old equipment and dysfunctional procedures and the motto is “good enough”. Honestly there should be a better system in place to monitor CROs and how they conduct the work (more scientifically) and how they treat their employees. Ridiculously low pay, hardly any bonus and little room to grow.
