      Generally great place to work. Some teams moreso than others

      Pros

      Work-life balance is good. Remote friendly* Really, really great co-workers. Fun problems with a recent embrace of modern technology stacks and large scale infrastructure.

      Cons

      They seem to begrudgingly allow remote work rather than embrace it and it's definitely tougher to stand out as a remote worker. Leadership has a history of high churn and disorganization, but that seems to be improving slowly. The requirements for a promotion and the entire process around that are inconsistent from team to team and it seems challenging for some to get promoted.

When it comes to remote work, we're definitely in a transition phase, and from Mark and me, all the way through the rest of the leadership team, we're committed to finding, hiring and engaging the best talent wherever it may be, to include hybrid and fully remote. To that end, we had a hybrid work training for the managers a few weeks back, and have an IC training session coming up this week in fact. As individuals and as an organization, we've learned a lot over the past 1.5+ years, but still have some things to clarify and align on, so please keep the feedback coming.       Customers love this product

      Pros

      The company has deep pockets and is customer focused. It's a sticky product and customer's genuinely love the software. Slant towards innovation. Internal movement is supported and rewarded. Smart colleagues! Fun problems to solve!

      Cons

      Woke culture is a bit pervasive, but that's every publicly traded company. Specifically to software engineers: Mix of old desktop windows stack and new cloud tech means that you may land on a team with an ancient, poorly tested codebase. Even still, there is plenty of opportunity to move around once you earn your stripes.
