It's not a glamorous sales job, it's hard dirty work!

Pros

Company car (Chevy Traverse) that you can drive on your personal time and pay a small amount for gas. Great benefits package. Good salary for what you do, ok bonus. Autonomy...only work with manager once per month.

Cons

You do more merchandising than sales. The expectations are unrealistic. You get dirty hanging signs and moving product around in retail stores.

Pros

Good salary, benefits and training programs. Nice 401-k match. Above market compensation used to offset tobacco stigma. Get in, get your MBA and get out.

Cons

The company does not post jobs internally. Zero ability to advance without VP level support. Good old boy network runs the business like it is stuck in the 1960's. Jobs are eliminated routinely, as cigarette volume declines the company cuts jobs.
