Pros

Product-Market Fit: Our product is hitting the mark with customers, and the potential for success is clear. Vision and Autonomy: There's a strong emphasis on looking beyond the immediate tasks. With a busy near-term roadmap, this can be challenging but exec leadership (especially the CEO and CPO) encourages us to think about the broader vision and what's possible. Customer Feedback Loop: We have a tight, ongoing dialogue with our customers. This continuous feedback is crucial for refining and improving the product. Design Team: The product design team is ambitious, collaborative, and has a high attention to detail. Our user experience and interface have been a clear differentiator for us, and we continue to prioritize pushing this even further. Benefits: 401k, healthy parental leave, unlimited PTO, and the opportunity to work for up to a month remotely (two weeks at a time) every year. The office is nice, and the managers are flexible and empathetic to our different scheduling needs now that we're hyrbid.

Cons

The feedback from some Glassdoor reviews has been fair. We grew very fast and have needed to work on communication, performance reviews and manager training. Thankfully, within the past 3-4 months, all managers have gone through extensive manager training, our performance review cycle is getting a revamp, and communication is improving.

Pros

The product is exciting and it ends at that.

Cons

I took a pay cut because I was promised a bonus but they never paid out even once because the target was out of reach by a factor of 100. You get no say in how the target it set which is the best way to ensure no bonuses are ever paid.

Ruthless leadership that will lie to your face

Pros

(mostly) competent coworkers, cool office, industry that inherently has a lot of money flowing through it (wealth management, financial advisors)

Cons

High (forcible) turnover due to poor decision making and two-faced practices by the senior leadership team. For example, after continually "committing" to a remote first culture, they blindsided employees into a RTO ultimatum. You can read more if you search for the article “jason-wenk-makes-rto-decision-for-altruist-staff-unpopular-with-some-that-will-result-in-departures-he-also-plans-contrarian-move-of-opening-san-francisco-office” This is just one huge example on top of a pile of other decisions that created a tumultuous environment where leadership would say one thing and, when the winds change, will drop you at their earliest convenience. Furthermore, an intense grinding work environment while you're there.
