While with a client , I was harassed daily by the employees at the facility. I was told one day that it was my responsibility to get my clients lunch. I was then told that I should not eat until my client was eating. The truth was , I HAD asked for her lunch and I was told it would be brought to her. WE waited and I shared cheese and crackers with her while we waited. There was no need for the harassment from the facilities employees. When they finally did bring her lunch, they brought no spoon, but had clearly thrown a leftover bowl of broth into a bag , pudding cup, and a applesauce cup and wanted to put blame on me. I had no clue of their procedures as they were and are THEIR procedures. They forgot her lunch, period. I faced daily rudeness from these people and when I had had enough my bosses would not stand up for me. I have never been treated in such an unkind manner by so many people before. The client was a tough client and was not still one moment of any hour I was with her. She could not relax or rest. I was accused of having her sleep on my watch, which was a lie. I worked very hard with my client. I relayed the harassment to my bosses early on but they still did not have my back. I believe I was harassed because of my race, only because I cant think of any other reason. On my last day there, I was once again harassed for calling the clients husband, her clothes had not been changed (I had just arrived) and I was told not to let her sleep again. SHE HAD NEVER SLEPT. We left the area of constant abuse and went into her room. Two minutes later, my client is sitting on the side of a bed talking to me. Someone walks in and says "Umm she cant be sleeping" . She was sitting. She had not slept one second of any day. This was clearly deliberate harassment and Amada did nothing but to say "hey we gotta get to our Christmas party"
