Pros
There really aren't any at all
Cons
The experience I had working here was completely awful! 'Training' is a joke and the 'Trainer' is rude, snappy and spends more time criticizing and gossiping about the trainees to EMPLOYEES (not just management) and less time actually training. We were supposed to get TWO WEEKS of training, we barely got a week and the "trainer' wouldn't tell you what you were doing wrong, she would just say "let me do it" and take over.. how are we supposed to know what we're doing wrong if you don't show us? I got such TERRIBLE TRAINING that it ended up costing me my job because I hadn't been trained correctly so I wasn't doing lashes correctly. When I lost my job I had no idea it was coming, I thought everything was okay...But apparently they had been gathering 'evidence' against me for a MONTH.. never spoke to me about their concerns, never even gave me a chance to fix things. When about to fire me I told her I've been wanting to sit in with more experienced stylists so I could try to see what they do but there hasn't been any time and she replied with 'It's a little too late to be proactive'. I couldn't believe she said that! I still don't know exactly why I was fired to be completely honest.. They also don't let you have ANY BREAKS except your (if you're lucky) 30 minutes for lunch, which isn't always guaranteed. Most days you won't get a full lunch. No time for restroom breaks either. They book BACK TO BACK. Also, we signed a contract saying that if we quit within a year of working there we owed them $1200 for training, fair enough.. but at this particular location she hasn't paid for any training so far so all these people that's she's been holding their last checks from to 'reimburse' training she's just pretty much been stealing their money. They've lost multiple tips of mine as well... I could go on and on about this 'business' and why you shouldn't work there but we'd be here all day. My advice to anyone looking to working here is: DON'T. Go somewhere else to do lashes.
