Pros

The team members are awesome, love taking photos of the guests, love the customer service portion

Cons

Extremely awful upper management, the company is money hungry and revolving door. They don't care about how hard you work for very little money.,a group of monkeys could run this company better than the pack working there.

Pros

The coworkers are friendly, but still a lot of drama because a majority of the people who worked there were high school kids.

Cons

When I got my interview with the company, I specifically told them that I couldn't work out in the sun for long hours due to my very fair skin, even with sunscreen and a hat, I get burned to a crisp. I was told by the interviewer I had nothing to worry about and that I wouldn't be standing out in the sun for my whole shift, and I'd get to pick the location I got to work at once training was done at fun spot. Once I was finished with my training at fun spot and my orientation at Universal I was placed at the front gate of USF, called on location.. and no, I didn't get to pick my location. The first shift I worked, was an 8 hour shift starting at 8am. After standing in the blazing sun for nearly 6 hours, I realized I was lied to when it came to the rotations. I was told in order for me to get inside and out of the sun, I'd have to hit my shot goal, which wasn't happening no matter how hard I tried.. Most of the people who got to stay inside in the AC on register, were suck-ups to management to the point where they didn't even need to hit a shot or sales goal. I went home burnt and as red as a lobster that night, because I was standing in the hot sun from 8am-3pm with only a 30 minute break. The next day when I came in, I complained about this and told my manager that I was told I didn't have to work outside for my whole shift when I was hired, and I was laughed at and told that wasn't how things worked anymore. The management acted like 50 year old highschool kids, if you said something to them they didn't like they would try to find some way to punish you for it. Example being: I was out at the front gate at the front of a line of photographers and a manager from inside the store thought she saw me having a conversation with a fellow coworker.. she came out and started telling at me if she caught me talking to any coworker again (because this is a BIG nono) she was going to write me up and suspend me. After she was done yelling at me, I decided to defend myself because I wasn't talking to anyone.. and that made her pretty mad, and I went sentenced to front gate duty for like a week straight to "teach me a lesson" knowing I had issues being in the sun for too long. And I was also written up and suspended once for coming inside to help out the people behind the counter because there was a very long line and only two people helping on the counter. The park was closing, and there was no one to take pictures of, that was the only reason I decided to go in and help my coworkers. This company is pretty money hungry and wants you to be very dishonest to the people you're dealing with. They want you to tell people no matter what that pictures are $25 each and include the frame.. when people ask if they can get it without the frame, we had to say no.. even tho that wasn't the case. We were forced to lie to people and only give them a decent price when they were about to walk away, but then we had to be all secretive about it by whispering and passing notes so we didn't tick off the people being helped by someone right next to us, who was actually paying $25 because they thought they had no choice. Towards the end of my employment, this company decided at the beginning of the year 2014, they would cut hours from 40 hours a week to only 23 hours a week and told us to blame Obama for it, and if we went over 26 hours, it was an auto termination. When they cut the hours, we were extremely short staffed, and they were giving us impossible quotas to reach.. if we didn't reach our quotas at the end of the day, in both shots and sales, you were to be written up.. after three write ups they were threatening to fire us. Also, in order to move up in the company, like being a manager or assistant manager.. they'd pull everyone who had an interest and then take those people early one morning for a meeting to determine if you are manager material or not.. How'd they do this you ask? They had you play tic-tac-toe with a fellow coworker and whoever won the game would move forward with becoming a manager.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!

Pros

Good commission. Based on the team effort and not your own individual. Get to work in a theme park if that's your thing.

Cons

Huge lack of training. No one told me how to use a cash register and refused to actually stand over me as I needed. Then I was blamed for mistakes that I couldn't help because of the lack of training. I took the job because I thought it was going to involve photography. First of all, some do but they use the lowest end dslr's money can buy. I owned one better than that. I was stuck pasting heads on bodies instead of actually taking pictures. The register system is stupid and slow. You must ring up a sale on one and then re enter the receipt in another. We couldn't use Disney lockers, so all we got was a really small cabinet and no where to store your clothes.
