      Pros

      Nothing comes to mind that I can share. After they acquired my previous firm, they never reached out for us to feel welcome or learn about the firm's culture. During my time working at a client site, I never met anyone from the new company. I was very happy they lost the contract re-compete so I went to work for the new winner.

      Cons

      As part of my exit, I was given a to do list. Missing from that list was a warning that my health insurance plan was aligned with an FSA and not an HSA as has every plan I've ever carried and that I would lose any funds left upon separation. As a result, they got to keep almost $2,000 that I had contributed to the account. This was just one of many issues such as missing 401K funds and leave balances.

      Great team of colleagues, some supportive direct managers. Flexibility to work remotely.

      Cons

      No equal pay for equal work. Inconsistent hiring practices by C-Suite management. The men tend to be paid more coming in as new hires than the existing women employees are compensated and with less relevant experience, all based on who they know. No work-life balance and expected to work well beyond 45 hours per week with an "oh well" attitude. Can never truly have a real day off or weekend with always needing to be accessible. Not enough staff and recruiter tools provided to do job efficiently.

      Decent pay for select contracts.

      Cons

      Amentum acquired Jacobs and it has been a complete downward spiral into typical corporate greed. Constantly cutting employee benefits and looking at every way to take from the employees and bolster profits.
