      A few good coworkers and pretty lenient with time off requests

      Cons

      Horrible pay, little training for new hires. Upper management (regional) a Liar. Store GM lazy and no optical qualifications. Rarely will help during busy times. Customers are entitled and ignorant. Impossible to meet company goals so forget about making any kind of money. 1% commission on everything you sell? Sad. Poor quality control for eyewear and contact lens orders can take weeks to arrive. Dirty store and restrooms are an embarrassment.

      •over worked •embarrassing pay •disregards employees wants & needs •management is terrible •THE COMMISSION IS A JOKE, you can sell your heart out and you only make 1% which is a joke with how loaded the company itself is. •super dead end job

      Pros

      The doctors were lovely people and would help employees if they were having an eye related issue.

      Cons

      I was hired for an assistant manager position without any experience in optical and was then given almost no training. The quality of the products was not worth what customers paid. Pay was more than minimum wage but still very low.
