Platform is quicksand

Pros

- You can be proud of the brand. - Some really cool people work there. - Pay is on time.

Cons

- Horrible onboarding. - Management can be hawkish. - The platform is mud. Everything is so fragile and poorly architected. It has been glued together and then passed on to the next dev to band-aid it. - Healthcare is not the best but really expensive. - Pay raises are minimal. - Developer talent pool is low, so early stage developers beware. Mentorship is non-existent.

Pros

Co workers are friendly. Being exposed to all areas of publishing. Boston is a fun place to be.

Cons

Pay was low which made it difficult to support oneself alone.
