Pros

Cant think of any except you do get paid

Cons

Unstable company not going in any clear direction. Laid off over 50 people without warning and no organization on how to even fire as severance wasn't even the correct amount. Wasnt even allowed a chance to prove self and learn.

Pros

Friendly coworkers Flexible hours Free health insurance Nice office space

Cons

There is absolutely no consistent communication between departments at AAC. There was constantly shifting project scopes, goals, and messaging that could never be agreed on between business development and Michael Cartwright. There was an incredible amount of backstabbing and ego issues coming out of the marketing office in San Diego at all times. Upper management within the San Diego office even participated in throwing other offices under the bus and stealing their projects even though they did not have the work ethic or design skills to do anything decent. Overall, I loved my job, but as soon as Recovery Brands was forced to start working on American Addiction Centers work, it went downhill so fast and became unbearable. It was also difficult to keep a positive frame of mind when there were constant lawsuits and complaints about all of the treatment centers.
