      This is a highly toxic work environment where at least one employee-management "war" will berak out in 2009.

      Pros

      You get to work at a company that may be the last one to go bankrupt in the industry! Of course, if you worked for another airline that went out of business first, you may be able to get a flying job elsewere first.

      Cons

      The Management "team" has a brazen disregard for the value of happy, motivated employess in a service busiiness. They are only concerned with the bottom liine and how much money they each get, at the expense of these very same employees.

      interesting dynamic business...whether economy is growing or shrinking, managing the business is always a challenge. Well educated employees from all parts of the globe, well traveled, interesting and fun. good corporate communication. management gets the most it can from technology within cost/benefit profile. Most important principle during decision making is "doing the right thing"

      long hours, short deadlines, short staff, burnout...typical of any business

      some work time flexibility, decent (not great) health benefits

      Cons

      unsupportive management, unfair promotion practices, with low seniority (in my hub 15 years or less) grueling schedule with nights, weekends and holidays at work, very few holidays paid at higher scale. Would not recommend
