Work 6 months out of year decentpay

Cons

Benefits suck, hardly overtime and when there is refuse to give you trip pay unless your captain or pilot. Your mainly just an number haven't had an raise in two years

Great People, Outdated Business Practices

Pros

The people are truly the best reason to work here. Many great friendships to develop.

Cons

Over 100 year old company still does business in an outdated manor. Technology needs a major overhaul. Difficult to find advancement if politics are not your strong suite. Unfortunately the nature of the business is one that happens 24/7, so work/life balance can be skewed. The business itself is affected for better or worse by outside forces beyond the company's control.

The HR department work very well together they are very professional and treat each other with respect. As a temporary employee I was treated with the same professionalism and respect.

Cons

Not offered a permanent position after (17 months contract work)
