Management could care less about the employees, it's all about production PERIOD! Some of the machinery is so rundown and old that it breaks down nearly every week if not more with major design flaws in the machinery used but is not replaced (ACSC is a multi-billion dollar company and they can't afford upgrades!?!). The equipment used here is falling apart ex. Forklifts-which is one of the busiest positions to work(not hardest just busiest) run 24/7/365 and 2 of the newest ones used in the warehouse are so beat up that they breakdown monthly one of which is completely deadlined. The rotating schedule of working 12hr shifts days and graves makes changing sleep times rough. Extremely short staffed workforce that means picking up slack through what they call "MANDATORY OVERTIME" since when can an employer force you to work when you are not scheduled? There is no such thing as advancement here unless jobs are being created which rarely happens and when old positions are opened the management decides to discontinue the position entirely. Union stewards are useless since the lockout, on top of that union dues that are paid used to be used for scholarships for employees' kids, now it's used for T-shirts and other useless ideas. Management shows favoritism for some employees and neglects most others while not bothering to listen to employees who essentially run the place. Safety hazards are virtually everywhere and the little ones that can be fixed are either ignored until someone gets hurts or are put on hold until the last minute of inter-campaign. The company promotes 2-way communication but when it comes to simply asking a question the answer is "I Don't know" or the management tries to find an answer-doesn't-forgets and then gets angry when you continue to ask the same question repeatedly. Management also gives absolutely no appraisal to their employees when they busted tooth and nail to keep things running, I can recall times that I'm dripping with sweat and exhausted from working hard and still getting chewed out by my supervisor. This place could fixed so easily if the management would actually listen and talk with the employees who work there rather than barking orders and deflecting problems. Do NOT work here. I dot why I still am.
