Get on the right shift and you have the opportunity to move quickly

Cons

You have to start out on the bottom and you don't get benefits so ur there just for a pay check and work a lot of hours

Pros

The personnel within the company are easy to work with and supportive when working within an assignment not yet trained for. With a rotating 12 hour shift I like the fact that there is one complete week off, this is only during the production cycle. Production is approx. 9 months, and these months included the cold winters in MN.. The other 3 months plant will shut down for upgrades and repairs, There are options with those 3 months... I enjoy the time I was there....

Cons

The cold winters!! Those that think they freeze easy, move south.. Not uncommon to work -40*, and depending on the assignment working thru the winter isn't hardly what you might think.. Being a processing plant, strikes and picket lines happen and are a major pain.. Besides... beyond that...would have liked to stayed

Benefits are very good. Some jobs are really easy.

Cons

It smells terrible everywhere. It's an old factory with many things breaking down. Their is a real risk of serious injury. Schedule is a rotating days/nights.
