      Mat Leave and Pat leave programs are very good... blue works is a great program for those with 60+ min commutes Tons of lateral movements available Its like an extension of college - you will continue to learn and gain skill sets as your career progresses American express is an incredible brand to be associated with and you will get to focus on the customer and have a tangible effect on the customer.

      depending on who your leader is, that work life balance culture that Amex preaches by can be affected... compensation is barely keeping up with the cost of living, especially in NY... Political game play is always an issue... its very difficult to grow and follow a career path if you are focused on a particular part of the business. To be successful you must be willing to take any job in the company at any point regardless of your interest.
