Pros

Honesty motivation but they do it to fool you guys. Great entry level for sales but I still won't do it ever again.

Cons

ALOT OF CONS; They don't pay for gas, commission base, ALSO IF A MEMBER CANCELS THIER POLICY WITHIN 6 MONTHS YOU OWE THE COMPANY THEIR 6 MONTHS PREMIUM, you pay for training, work more than 40 hours to make money... I wouldn't work for them ever again!!

Pros

Mostly remote with a small amount of flexibility

Cons

I thought I was applying for a customer support/data entry position with AIL in Aurora, CO. I was told at the very first meeting this "was not a sales position." On my second interview, I stated I was happy to hear Kevin say this wasn't a sales position and none of the two people in the room corrected me. I wasn't told until my 6th visit to AIL that this is a CONTRACT, COMMISSION ONLY SALES POSITION. They pushed really hard to take an online study course to obtain state certification in insurance. You will have to pay $99 for the study guide, $41 for the test, and $35 for the license. You have to provide your own laptop. They will tell you to come to the office for two hours a day of MANDATORY studying, even though you are not yet an employee. After about a week-and-a-half of studying and passing the test, you are then trained for two more weeks - ALL OF THIS IS UNPAID. You will be asked to sign a document titled "New Hire Calendar" outlining your training and confirming that this training is UNPAID. There is a line in this document that reads "there is a possibility to get paid for sales made days 17 - 18 on appointments that trainee book and sells." This AIL office has figured out a way to have people work for them for free.
