Pros
Absolutely none, you work terrible hours, you travel all the time, you get stuck in peoples homes, stood up, yelled at thrown out. NONE.
Cons
Anything you can think of, the hours, the commute, the fact that you NEVER speak with a firefighter or policeman (the core of their "customers"). Bait & Switch, go in trying to give people "free" child safety kits- always end with an insurance pitch. Leads are old, you get yelled at constantly, most people give in and let you visit but hardly buy. Terrible managers, lies from the start, oh and and you have to front all of your $. Also, if you make a sale early on, which I did, your manager will often say that the income from that sale is theirs, because you are still "training" even though you made the sale on your own and the only thing your "manager" did was travel with you 1 day.
