      Pros

      Flexible in that you can decide to take time off when you want/can afford it.

      Cons

      The only way to be successful at this commission based position is to sell people more than what they need. There is a lot of travelling and going to people's homes can be uncomfortable/unsafe.

      Pros

      Nice and friendly peers, experienced senior management. They provide traning after you pass the exam. Though it will not help you to learn this long script :)

      Cons

      Waste of time when you are in need of real job. Basically you have to sell life insurance and stick to a plan.

      Own schedule Opportunity for advancement Benefits are good.

      Lie, lies and more lies. They tell you you will make $40k+ a year salary (I have the copy of the Kijiji ad) and it's a lie. It's 100% commission and the training is minimal. The leads they promise you are over 6 years old, so they tell you to get referals when you complain about it. No joke. Don't let them tell you that they just got a bunch of new leads...that's also a lie. Management is not willing to pay to buy new leads, so they recycle them over and over again. I had the same leads come through over and over again. The people you will be calling are often 4 and 5 years in the system and they have been called already several times by other agents in previous years. NO CUSTOMER service. If you care about your character and what people think of you, get ready to loose your mind! They don't care about you or the customers...just the sale.
