Pros

This is a great place to work. I was skeptical at first as it almost seemed too good to be true, however I liked the idea of not having to friends or family prospect. This allows individuals to make a great income right out of the gates.

Cons

You need to have the self discipline to actually go to work. No one is going to babysit you

Thank you for your feedback. This Agent position is hard work and does require an individual that is self-motivated and disciplined. But as you know, for that type of individual, this AIL career can be incredibly rewarding both financially and personally. We’re very happy to have you on our team and appreciate your role in helping us provide financial protection to our customers.

Pros

- opportunity to shape and mold your career to what you want to get out of it - the only limit placed on growth, advancement and income is how hard you are willing to work and the amount of effort you invest in yourself to learn the systems and procedures - flexible hours - excellent training, mentorship programs - great work environment and culture, feels like being part of an extended family

Cons

- initial investment to get licensed - job requires a lot of self-accountability - Even with the fantastic training programs and mentorship in place, the training can be overwhelming and intimidating, lots of information to learn and quickly - choice of work hours can be limited by client availability, being able to work at minimum some evenings and weekends will be important - this is not a job for everyone, many of the cons listed above are not necessarily cons but rather limiting factors that could impede some people from success where they otherwise might have thrived
