Pros
at least my interviewer was honest to me about how there was no base pay and there is no pay during training
Cons
I asked my interviewer if I could see where the payment is processed before agreeing to pay and he declined. seems sketchy if I can't see where my money is going before agreeing to payment. I also asked if gas would be paid for and he was extremely ambiguous and told me whatever sales I would be able to make would help pay for it. he also seemed disinterested in my questions because he knew I was wary of taking the job, like he's only interested in the questions I'm asking if he can make money by hiring me. be upfront about how much money one can realistically expect to earn and whether it would compensate for the training and gas. judging by the reviews I saw on here one cannot count on making enough money to compensate for the amount of money he or she invested for training and driving around everywhere. MAYBE if you're extremely lucky and stick around for more than a few months you can make a lot of money, but it seems as though you would have to break several basic laws of ethics and integrity by lying to customers, lying to potential employees in the recruiting process, and lying to people who have decided to take the job and making them pay for training. I also don't believe that the payment for insurance licensing (for me it would have been $150) does not directly go to the company. Maybe if it was through a secure web browser hosted by the state government but not if it's through American Income's human resources department by means of a sketchy "credit card machine", whatever my interviewer meant by that.
