Pros

The company has a decent amount of flexibility in work hours as long as you put in the effort althought the reason for this would be that you are paid purely on commissions so it doesn't hurt the company if you don't work.

Cons

The training is very poor and is based solely around goign through a book in front of the customer. The pay is terrible and if you lose a customer you can end up having to pay the company back on the advance given to you. The managers do not care about how much time and effort is put into the work as long as it is done. The cold calling is highly ineffective since the lists are recycled and have been called numerous times before and are usually frustrated by the time you call.

Pros

Offers training, you don't pay for anything, the initial $200.00+ is for your online course, you need that to get your license, it's a state requirement You must be licensed to sell insurance. Team atmosphere, will hire most everyone, and see who sticks. full review at a later point.

Cons

Company does provide leads, but with a catch.. Most are referral leads and some of those still have a cold call feeling to them. Hard work and right attitude will no doubt in help you, but these same virtues will also help you in any other field. I would have a hard time calling it a career company but then again not many are…

Pros

You will learn to put up with the hardest things a salesperson has to face. Great experience if you plan on being a salesperson. 1099 means you pay your own taxes, but also means that you work for yourself, don't let them tell you when to work. They cant provide you with healtcare but after awhile will make small contributions in the form of upped commission for healthcare.

Cons

It is tough and sometimes you dont make any money. Sometimes however, you make good money. The hours are bad if your working hard enough to make decent pay.
