Cons
-Training is 12 hr. shifts for two weeks. You don't get paid for the first week. You get paid $600 at the end of the second week, if you pass your script check. -Commission Based-You must make a sale to get paid! (In the job post I applied for it stated a $68,000/Yr. Salary; That is NOT the case, this job is COMPLETELY Commission based pay! -It also stated in the job post that I was applying for a lead management position, not true, you are hired on as trainee and must work your way up to management. -Possibility of Charge Backs (Meaning you sold a policy but they canceled it within the first 6 months; now you must pay it back to the company what you made from that sale.) -Your trainer may not be as experienced and seasoned as you would want (For example, my trainer had only been working here for a few months.) -You are driving to your client's houses, not all clients are willing to give you the time of day, especially if you're door knocking at 8 o'clock at night. (Please if something doesn't feel right about a client/area LEAVE!) -Might want to invest in pepper spray, taser, concealed carry licensed if you're female for your own safety and peace of mind. (It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!) -You pay for your own gas and food when out in the field (No reimbursements for mileage, no designated lunch break times.) -You must have a laptop (They don't provide this for you though it's mandatory to have to work here.) -Last appointment time is 9-10 PM; some nights you will be out till 12-1 AM trying to complete a sale. -Work/Life Balance can be challenging, especially if you have other commitments, such as school, young children, etc.
