Pros
Can't think of any to speak of
Cons
Everything is at your own expense, from getting your insurance license so you can work for them, to buying business cards. Have to save all of your receipts and work 12-15 hours per day, just to make a decent living. Weekly training meetings are 3 times per week, with Fridays being the most ridiculous, while you watch Altig TV and listen to big wigs yell with excitement over their top earners. It's not a very legit way to learn the insurance industry. They tell you to learn what you have to to pass your Life & Health Insurance state test, then they tell you to forget all of that and learn their way of doing things. They try to push you through training, as fast as possible. The leads are tired and worn out and most of the appointments you book will cancel on you, or simply stand you up at the door, causing you to waste time and money on gas.
