Pros

None, there was nothing redeeming about this company and if "Names with held to fit the Glass Door policy, Whom supposedly reviewed my resume on line, are representative of the folks that work for this organization then please beware. From the very beginning I was told nothing but lies and was deceived into believing I was interviewing for a Manager position in Customer Support.

Cons

I applied for a Customer Service Manager position with a company called Furer which just so happens to be a front for your company. When I called to set up the interview I specifically asked if my resume was reviewed, I was told by "Names with held to fit the Glass Door policy" that it was and that I was being called for the Management position I applied for. When searching the web for the Furer company, the only reference was to American Income Life and at that point I should of known better but I figured that even can insurance company would need a support Manager. When I showed up for the interview, there were 10 people in the lobby all here for the same position. I handed my resume in, as asked for, and it never left the desk which should of been another clue that this job was not what it appeared to be. When my name was called, I was escorted to a conference room where there were about 8 other people waiting and on the wall was a presentation for American Income Life and not Furer. The person that came into the room to give the presentation was named "Names with held to fit the Glass Door policy" and as the presentation began he said nothing of the job I applied for. I waited about 20 minutes into his presentation before the slide came up which resembled the outline of a pyramid scheme just like the old "Amway" presentations, it was at that point that I left the room and headed back to the front desk. I voiced my issues and asked for the Manager, named Cindy" to please call me and I was told that the message would be delivered and that if she wanted to she would call me, It has been two days and I am still waiting and I also found out that no one has yet to review my resume which by the way has no indiction that I was ever involved with sales, cold calling, or working for any insurance organizations.

Pros

From my short time with AIL it is clear that there is none. And any pros that they try to convince you of is just smoke blown right up your butt. Don't believe a word these people say. All of the positive reviews here on glass door are lies and deception from AIL so that they can keep luring in suckers like me. They are that awful.

Cons

This is a classic pyramid scheme dressed up as life insurance. Recruiting seems the only way to make real money unless you can talk a poor family into an awful life insurance policy that they just don't need. After they convince you the job isn't about cold calling most of your job becomes cold calling and harassing union and association workers. I was convinced I had gotten a job to become a life insurance agent only to figure out I was just another pawn someone received a bonus off of.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your American Income Life career was less than you expected. While recruiting is apart of a successful agency (and any company for that matter), we are in no way a pyramid scheme. We wish you the best.

Pros

There are NO PROS. This is a SCAM.

Cons

This is a scam to get people to pay and sign up for an insurance license.

Thank you for your review. The insurance industry is highly regulated and because of the personal and sensitive nature of insurance, licensing is a requirement. This consistent with many financial services products including life insurance.
