Pros

Unlimited commission potential . Flexible schedule if you can sell . Hands on training everyday, no matter where you are at in the company .

Cons

100% commission. No paid vacations, time off, or sick leave. You will be driving all the time so you put a lot of miles as well as wear and tear on any vehicle you use. Forced and guilted into working if you don’t hit your bonus goal for the week. Direct supervisors care more about their paychecks then your life and schedule. When you build your team, it’s all on you. They give you leads, but personal referrals is the key to growing your team.

Pros

Some of the training is helpful

Cons

The leaders constantly lie to recruit anyone and everyone, you are not union benefit specialists, you are a life insurance salesman with the worst contract in the industry. The products are horrible everyone of them can be beat by most other carriers. They ask you to lie to clients especially about the cancer policies saying that it covers any expense they should accumulate when that it not true there is low caps on everything besides blood transfusions. They offer weekly bonuses as a way to cut your actual commission in half and if you don’t keep an extremely high retention they take the bonus away and eventually will cut your actual pay. They will not pay you your renewals if you leave unless you stay 10 years where as every other carrier pays you them even if you’ve only been there 1 month. This is not industry standard, if you are looking for a job as an insurance agent do not work here become a broker.

Pros

Great money, compensation, and bonus structure. Definitely feels like family here. And great support from leaders.. More autonomy. Only in the office a couple days a week. Cares about people, and helping them succeed and grow. Hard work here totally gets rewarded, and usually in tangible ways. Very hands-on with training. Good support. Good promotion opportunities.

Cons

I so wish I started this career with this company years ago!
