Pros

If you thrive at sales and marketing; have a financial cushion to help cover the first 90 days of employment, the licensing process, and the training; have thick skin, and can handle work that deals with some heavy topics at times, you can make bank. Everyone is so nice and honest, and there are so many opportunities for growth and bonuses.

Cons

You are literally potentially dealing with cases of total disability, death, and financial hardship with clients, and this can be rough emotionally (and existentially). Your pockets are gonna be hurting at the beginning, and there seems to be a high turnover rate because of this. You are not fully paid for the licensing, and you are not paid for the job training. If you do not make a sale, you do not get paid. You spend a lot of time making scripted phone calls and getting hung up on. People you call often think you are a scam calling despite the legitimacy of the company. The work is emotionally draining and tedious at times, and your coworkers are often not available to offer support. The operating system is unreliable and not up to date. Management is a bit chaotic although they mean well.
