Pros

PTO isn’t bad once you’ve been there for 5 years. Recently added 3 new holidays.

Cons

Since Brookfield bought the company, it has gone downhill fast. Moral is at an all time high, people are overworked and working the job of 4 people, and no flexibility with working from home. Not all departments are consistent with WFH. Some units can work from home every week, where other departments are super strict, and doesn’t allow it. No one wants to be in office full time. You can tell just by walking in the halls. We’re all monotone, and don’t say hi to each other, or express any emotion. Pay your managers more. The stress they deal with is not worth the compensation.

Pros

Good pay for the area, PTO is reasonable.

Cons

Widespread uncertainty about job safety, no longer offering hybrid work, losing talent and having a hard time hiring due to full time in-office policy. Executive leadership really has no say in the future of their teams and are simply being given directives to carry out. Very hush-hush communication and details about changes come out much later than they should from executive leadership. Cohesive teams are being split and restructured with very little notice or reasoning. "Expense reduction" seems to be the phrase of the year and staffing, programs, and resources are being dramatically reduced causing an increased workload for the remaining team and angry agents. Even while cutting expenses growth goals are being set that would require an increase in corporate spending in order for those goals to be realistically met. Profitability has taken the place of culture and the bottom line matters significantly more than the employees or the agents.

Pros

At one time this was a decent place to work. It isnt now, but some of the survivors are good people.

Cons

Horrible systems that barely work. Upper management lies frequently. There is no job security whatsoever, they lay off or fire long term solid employees, causing regular chaos. I wish I would have left sooner.
