The residents were amazing. I miss them every day!

Cons

Very poor management. Never appropriately staffed. I was left with one nurse on long term with 50 patients overnight by myself with the promise that "other CNA" would come from the other halls and help. Of course they had their own work and no one ever came. when brought to the attention of management, I was criticized. I came back the next night to the same thing - I quit the next day.

I love seeing the residents daily and having talks making them smile and laugh

There is not enough teemwork and management in the facility are friends with one another outside of work and then when things happen in work they pick and choose how to discipline the employee

Residents are great, facility is clean, co-workers are great

Cons

Management is ridiculous, they treat people unfairly and if you are part of the clique, you can do whatever you want. Resident care suffers because they staff at the minimum. Food is terrible and on a revolving menu. Consultants at the corporate office level are horrible, only their to make "to-do" lists, micro manage and don't take into account the activity in the facility. Salary is ridiculous for management considering the hours they put in.
