Very health conscious company but management lacks effective leadership abilities.

Pros

They have unique health benefits and wellness programs. If you are going to school, they will reimburse you up to $3500 per year. It's a great company if you're merely looking to get a feel for a corporate environment and then move on.

Cons

There is not much opportunity for growth and middle management lacks in helping employees identify a career ladder within the company. Which is why a lot of employees tend to leave after a few years. There tends to be a lot of turnover and "re-organization" of the company.

Pros

Good Benefits, Smiley faces everywhere

Cons

In 2008, it was pretty still pretty fair but in 2009 things changed a lot. It seemed to me the intention and focus for helping others decreased as the company became more ambitious and crammed up the health coaches workload. This affected our ability to give quality time to individuals who counted on support as they tried to improve their health. I felt micro-managed to the max. I felt as if I was in college. I don't know if that has changed since 2009.

Pros

Excellent benefits (health, massage, vision, etc) Also, company match on 401 K plan is great.

Cons

Very unstable management at this company. Varies wildly from department to department. Long term employees will suddenly "disappear" from the company, while others seem to stay on with their mediocre work ethic for years. Lots of brown-nosing...if you don't buy into this style you probably won't stay around for long. Low, Low morale...constant lay-offs only to be followed by massive "hiring fairs." The company is extremely unorganized and unfocused in their vision. LOW pay.
